FAQ
How do you photograph weddings?
I love being by your side to help you during all of the planning leading up to your wedding day. This helps us build a great relationship so I can better capture you. Wedding packages also come with a complimentary engagement session. Once you book, I'll send you a guide to help you organize your day, find the best moments for the couple photos and best times to fit in all your photo wishes. On your wedding day, I hope you'll feel at ease in knowing I'll capture the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make you and your wedding unique.
What can I expect from a shoot with you?
No stress, minimal planning. Chasing sunsets & cuddling in fields of tall grass. Cityscapes and laughter, music and giggles. Never stiff, always fun. Intimate and so dang special.
I will scout locations, help with styling, and make you feel prepared and relaxed for your day.
How many pictures will we receive?
For an 8 hour coverage wedding, you will receive between 400+ fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and most significant photos to tell your story. Depending on your photo session, the typical amount of photos will vary. I am happy to discuss this ahead of time and accommodate any needs.
What if I have to reschedule or cancel?
I am flexible in rescheduling as long as it is within one years time. The deposit can be applied to another date as long as I have that date available. Wedding retainers are non-refundable if cancellation occurs.
Are you an inclusive photographer?
ABSOLUTELY! I do not have any prejudices towards anyones sexuality, race, or lifestyle choices. You love whomever you choose and I'll be there to capture the sweet and beautiful moments.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Cincinnati, OH and yes I love to travel! Surprisingly, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky have some gorgeous locations to shoot that don't feel too "midwest". If you would like for me to photograph your story at a new location, depending on where, it may require a travel fee - but I'm there! Let's do it :)
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 8 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How do I know if you are the photographer for me?
I am best suited towards classic and laid-back couples who like to have fun. If you are looking for modern yet timeless wedding photography that captures the essence of your day, I'm your girl.
I don't know how to pose for photos and am somewhat camera shy - Can you help?
No problem, it's completely normal and most couples I work with don't either. I don't expect you to know what to do - that's why I'm here! I'll give you actions and directions rather than "poses" so that nothing feels forced, unnatural or rigid. You'll be jumping unto each others arms, spinning around in circles and slow dancing like I'm not even there. It's my job to make sure you're feeling comfortable and having fun so that these feelings are also conveyed in your finished album.
